Agreement between User and My Tutor RD (mytutor.do)
Welcome to My Tutor RD. This website, mytutor.do, is operated by My Tutor RD and is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein ("Terms"). Your use of mytutor.do constitutes your agreement to all such Terms. Please read these terms carefully and keep a copy for reference.
My Tutor RD is an educational platform connecting tutors and students for both online and in-person lessons. Tutors set their own rates and schedules, and students can book and pay for lessons via the platform. Tutors receive payouts monthly, with My Tutor RD retaining an agreed % as a service fee.
By using mytutor.do or sending emails to My Tutor RD, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. You agree that all agreements, notices, and disclosures provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or have parental consent if under 18.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account sharing, resale, or transfer to another party is prohibited.
My Tutor RD reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts for any violations.
Tutors must provide accurate credentials and maintain professionalism.
Students must attend booked lessons on time and communicate in case of schedule changes.
Inappropriate behavior, harassment, or any form of discrimination will lead to account suspension.
In-person lessons must be conducted in a safe and agreed-upon public location, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
Students must pay in advance for lessons through My Tutor RD’s secure payment system.
Tutors receive an agreed % of the lesson fee after successful lesson completion.
Payments are processed on a weekly basis.
Refunds for cancellations are subject to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time may result in a full charge.
If a student cancels more than 24 hours in advance, a refund or rescheduling option is available.
If a tutor cancels, the student is entitled to a full refund or credit toward another lesson.
Unused lessons expire after 6 months without refund.
Tutors and students must mutually agree on a safe and appropriate meeting location.
Both parties must adhere to local laws and safety guidelines.
My Tutor RD is not liable for any disputes, accidents, or issues arising from in-person meetings.
My Tutor RD provides communication tools such as forums, messaging, and discussion boards.
Users must not engage in abusive, obscene, or unlawful behavior.
The platform reserves the right to monitor and remove inappropriate content.
All platform content, including text, graphics, and software, is owned by My Tutor RD or its licensors.
Users retain ownership of any original content posted but grant My Tutor RD a license to use it for promotional purposes.
My Tutor RD may contain links to third-party sites; we are not responsible for their content.
Some services are provided by third parties, and using them implies acceptance of their terms.
Any disputes arising from the use of My Tutor RD must first attempt to be resolved through direct communication.
If unresolved, disputes will be settled by arbitration in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Users waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits against My Tutor RD.
My Tutor RD provides services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We are not responsible for any inaccuracies, service interruptions, or damages arising from platform use.
We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes.
My Tutor RD reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
